Nick Howe’s new single “It Belongs To Her” will be released on 20th March 2020. Nick
Takes influence from diverse artists including the atmospheric Bon Iver, to the pop
sensibilities of Ed Sheeran, “It Belongs To Her” sits comfortably on Radio 1 and
Spotify’s chillout playlist.
Nick has been gigging an average of 250 shows a year. Independently, his first EP
shifted more than 3000 physical copies and reached no. 1 in the pre - sale Itunes chart.
Filling out , venues in the UK and Germany and consistently selling out venues in the
UK, Nick has been gigging non-stop in Europe and Scandinavia.
Nick has landed big syncs consistently for the past 3 years (Cadburys, Angry Birds,
ComicCon).
Nick has worked with many writers, including Matty Benbrook, Billy Lockett and Ivor
Novello winner Iain Archer (James Bay, Jake Bugg, Snow Patrol). In 2018, he was
awarded a scholarship for the Canadian-REO-Songwriting Retreat. He’s also written
with the songwriting Chair of Berkeley Music, head of music for Vancouver University,
and in 2019 he performed at Durango Music Sync Conference and won the Hondo
Presents music competition in Austin.
His acting credits include ITV’s Lewis, an Amstel beer commercial and film
appearances.
Nick grew up with entertainment heritage. His parents have appeared in many west-end
musicals. His grandmother was the highest paid female entertainer in the 1950’s and
his great grandmother is the infamous ‘Miss Sofie’ in Dinner for One (shown annually in
Germany, Scandinavia and Austria).
