HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE? It stems from an embarrassing in-joke. The less said about that the better. We’ll make up some really meaningful one-day. - WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE? Our first gig was at The Prince of Wales in Kettering as part of a multi-venue festival called Ctrl-Alt-Fest-Delete. We were second on. There was only a handful of people there for the first band and we thought we were going to be playing to the same but thankfully quite a few people, who wanted to check us out, turned up in the changeover. There was probably about 30 altogether. - WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT? We’ve not been gigging recently to focus on writing for an album. The last non-band related time we spent together was a house party on New Years Eve. It was messy. It started off quite civil, catching up with friends we hadn’t seen in a while and ended at 8am in a far less civilised manner. New Year’s Day was a right off. - WHAT IS SOMETHING - APART FROM YOUR PHONE OR WALLET - THAT HAS TO BE IN YOUR VICINITY AT ALL TIMES? Someway to record down melody ideas and listen to music…er that’s the phone…headphones for the phone and a pick. - WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU'D WRITTEN? There’s probably a few we could choose here but we’ll go with Army of Me by Bjork, as it’s the only cover we’ve ever attempted. Our sound is very bass and drums driven, so the filthy bass line and cool beat that drives that song worked well with our twist on it. - WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT? Being cornered by a guy dressed as Edward Scissorhands at a Halloween gig who knew everything about Stevie’s (singer/guitarist) musical history. Every time he made a point, he nearly took an eye out.
