EP of the Week: The Snuts - Mixtape

Rising British Indie Rockers, The Snuts, have released their dance floor banger, ‘Coffee & Cigarettes’. The track is taken from their forthcoming ‘Mixtape EP’ out 13th March on Parlophone Records. The band also bring their raucous live set back in April with a run of UK and Ireland dates, including a show at London’s Kentish town Forum on April 30th.

Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Inflo (Karen O / Danger Mouse, Michael Kiwanuka, Little Simz), ‘Coffee & Cigarettes’ is a rattling old-school rock anthem, perfect to soundtrack a 50s-dance hall. Initially inspired by a Bob Dylan track, Jack said of the track “it’s a song that celebrates the simpler things in life” he continues “It is pretty evident we were keen to push the boundaries of our songwriting with this track”.

The Snuts, who sold-out their 2019 Autumn UK tour and have sold 20,000 tickets in the last 12 months, head out on a run of UK dates in April and May, with Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester already sold-out.
