HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?

We used to be the official tribute band for Franz Ferdinand for Southern Europe back in 2006 only for a couple of years. We had the chance to be with Franz boys and that I suppose was the start of our journey.

-

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?

Our first gig as Matinee was in November 2005 in a club called Fitzgerald, in Pescara (Italy). I reckon there could have been perhaps 30 people

-

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?

HA! Pre self isolation, or post Self Isolation? I guess last day off was beginning of March, went to Vienna for the weekend, just on time before the lockdown.

-

WHAT IS SOMETHING APART FROM YOUR WALLET OR PHONE THAT HAS TO BE IN YOUR VICINITY AT ALL TIMES?

That is a very interesting question. I guess the answer is nothing. Nowadays pretty much everything you need is in your phone anyways?

-

WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU HAD WRITTEN?

Reptile by Citizens

-

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?

That is a tough one. probably signing autographs after a festival we played in Italy supporting The Lumineers. There were thousands of people. As a fan myself probably watching the Libertines live in Philadelphia in a pretty small venue (the TLA) after having seen them in London a few days earlier. Bumped into Gary the drummer and he was like ‘what’?

Really enjoyed reading about your first gig and those surreal fan moments! Music really does bring people together in amazing ways. After getting wrapped up in stories like this, I love to kick back and relax a bit. One of my favorite ways to do that is checking out this https://lowdepositcasinos.org.uk/reviews/freshbet-casino/ they’ve got a great mix of fun games to enjoy while unwinding at home.
