HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
I was born in Scotland and brought up in Gibraltar, my first name is Scottish and comes from the word Kir meaning cherry and my surname comes from Arabic Al-meida meaning path to peace which has very much defined my life’s journey so far!

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
When I was 6 I entered a talent competition at the local youth club and sang a song and played my violin in the middle and won. My next concert was the young musician of the Year, Gibraltar, where I came second and there was a few hundred in the audience. My next concert was to 4000 people in Gibraltar for National day where I was the first female to sing solo on the stage.

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
I went to the river with my five year old son and had a picnic and balanced stones. It was in the summer!

My little boy Ray. My 19th century Parlor Guitar is usually very close too xx

WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
When a woman ran into my dressing room with her husband and gave me her bra saying they just really loved the show and it was the best thing they could think of to give me.
