HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
It turns out that is almost impossible to answer - we've rowed about this a few times now, and spoken to previous members who've had to move on to different projects whilst we were getting ourselves off the ground - and we cannot come up with a definitive answer as to where the name OTR came from - it's a biblical reference - it's a movie - it's an an acknowledgement that we're not at all what's implied ... But where we got the name ?... We actually can't agree

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
ha. So our first gig was in Retro bar in Manchester in 2017. There were literally 3 people in the crowd and the other bands.

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
Technically not a day off because we still performed a show, but we played a covers set of a Funeral For A Friend songs only the famous Alma Inn in Bolton in April. It was incredible, we had people on the stage with us grabbing the mics and singing along. That was the last real “day off” from normal band duties.

Jake - Got to be my red Doc Martins, even if I get called a ‘scarf’ for wearing them 😂
Charlie - headphones because the world is a shite place at times and it's nice to block it out.

WHICH SONG BY ANOTHER ARTIST DO YOU WISH YOU'D WRITTEN?
Mark - (Sic) by slipknot. When I heard that song when I was a kid I wanted to be a drummer and I still love it now
Charlie - in our genre or related genres probably drown by bring me. Outside of our genre - I wanna dance with somebody by Whitney because it's absolutely perfect

WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
Andy - it’s happened a few times now, but when people have approached me in a bar and recognised me from being in Only The Righteous. It’s amazing that people know who we are!!
Jake - we supported Hacktvist in Bolton earlier this year and J Hurley (vocalist) wore one of our shirts during their set. Charles has since spotted a post on their Instagram story with him wearing it at a European festival too!
