HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
My full first name is "Sevillana", which means "girl from Seville" in Spanish. I'm actually not from Seville or have any Spanish descent. But my mom studied in Spain for a while and loved the name.

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
The first time I performed my original music to a public crowd outside of school was at the AmCham Shanghai Ball (American Chambers Shanghai). About 500 people were there and seemed to really enjoy my music. I was 14 at the time and had just professionally recorded Salty Water.

WHEN WAS YOUR LAST DAY OFF AND WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?
Haha, my last day off was yesterday. I don't have school on the weekends 🙂 I mainly studied, slept, and watched YouTube. Average teenager type of day.

WHAT'S BEEN THE MOST SURREAL FAN MOMENT?
I remember being on a school trip and someone cranked up Salty Water on their speaker. The entire grade started belting it out on the bus! It was pretty funny. I felt touched considering that my community really appreciates what I do.
