HOW DID YOUR NAME ORIGINATE?
Tom’s Beautiful and Dear Mother Mary. At an open Mic in Emmer Green in the distant, primordial beginnings of Our band. Mary remarked that “Tom sings like he has a Third Lung” So that was it the name Stuck.

WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG AND HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE THERE?
This is a Tricky one to pin down. You see there are 2 distinct Era’s of This Band. Before Cams Joined the Band and After Cams Joined, We refer to these as B.C. and A.C.
When Cams joined 3 years ago we completed the 4 piece line up and this is when, we feel, we became Third Lung. Our first Gig together was Oxjam Reading 2016 at Pavlovs Dog. Being a Festival it was packed. Felt like a pretty good start to us.

Honestly wouldn’t ever wish for it. They wouldn’t be the songs we Loved if They weren’t written and performed by the Artists we love. You can never have that experience listening to your own material. You’re always way too Critical and knowledgeable of the process. For the most part. Anyway Writing is a magical thing. Songs float around and eventually land where their supposed to.
